My favorite thing about the modern maker movement is the amazing variety of handcrafted pottery. I am especially in love with handcrafted mugs.
I believe there is nothing quite like tea with the perfect amount of oat milk, in a perfectly shaped, beautiful mug. A mug can make or break a cup of tea. A good mug is the difference between a purely utilitarian cup of tea and a ritualistic mug of warming, comforting brew. This is one opinion I am sure I will never abandon. Never, ever.
On the internet, it is very easy to find oneself down the rabbit hole of handmade mugs. They come in all sizes, shapes, colors, and glazes. Today, while falling down said rabbit hole, I found myself especially enamored with pink pottery mugs. Perhaps it is the emergence of the pink spring and summer blooms. Perhaps it is because I just really love pink. Today is definitely a pink mug day.
