A Turquoise Van Briggle Moon Vase

Every once in a while, I run across a vintage piece that truly speaks to me, and this Van Briggle moon vase is definitely one of those pieces. The matte turquoise glaze used by Van Briggle on this Moon vase is perfect.
I looked at this particular vase for a long time. And waited. And looked. And waited some more. And…someone else ended up buying it.
I see so many vintage pieces that I usually don’t remember the ones that got away. In this case, I have yet to run across another of these moon vases that I love as much as this one. The turquoise coloring is slightly different on every one of these vases. Most of them have more blue; though, I prefer the solid turquoise with vague hints of blue. This moon vase was perfect, and it got away. It sold 2017, and I’m still thinking about it.
So, if you happen to run across a vase that looks like this one, please drop me a line and let me know! I envision one of these beauties filled with white roses on my entry hall table. Now I just need this vase AND an entry hall.

I’ve curated this collection of other Van Briggle pieces in this same incredible color for your perusing pleasure. I’ve since discovered that this color is known as Ming Blue:
