In search of an adventure, we recently rented an Airbnb home in Joshua Tree. The wide open spaces and cleaner air were a welcome change. The house we rented was decorated with stylish vintage pieces. Records, a turntable, pottery planters, and art.
One wall that caught my eye contained a large shelf full of vintage white pottery planters of all shapes and sizes. Because they were all white, the planters felt cohesive even though they varied in shape. I love the gorgeous combination of vintage white pottery with a smooth matte glaze mixed with the vibrant greens of house plants.
Over the past few decades, certain types of pottery have become more rare. The rarity and desirability of a pottery color typically play a huge part in the price of a vintage flower pot. Generally, white pottery planters are much more affordable than their colorful counterparts, and the neutral color lends polish and sophistication to most decor styles.
If you are interested in collecting some vintage white pottery planters for your home, I’ve curated a collection for your perusing pleasure.
