I recently purchased this vintage buttocks basket at a church sale for two dollars.

So, you need a place to store your throw blankets and your TV remote? Perhaps your home feels cluttered and you need a stylish way to stash a stack of your favorite magazines? If you frequent home design blogs, you’ll know the answer to this interior design conundrum is to buy a beautiful basket.

From new and handmade baskets to those of the vintage and antique varieties, baskets are in style in a big way. They add character and texture to a room and offer that highly sought-after bohemian flair or country chic. Personally, I love to plop an otherwise plainly potted plant in a pretty basket for a rustic or Southwest feel. I recently found this vintage buttocks basket at a church sale for $2. I can’t wait to put it to use in my future home!

Here I’ve gathered a collection of rustic and vintage baskets. All of these baskets are offered by American-owned vintage shops – so shop away and buy local!
