I am constantly scouring shops for gorgeous vintage purses. I generally tend toward maximalism. Minimalist trends are not for me. A combination of materials, patterns, and textures really makes me happy.
Recently, while looking through my favorites list on Etsy, I realized I’d been saving a lot of vintage fabric handbags with wood handles. These purses look perfect with a linen summer dress and flats and are a great way to add a pinch of vintage to a modern look.
Since I’ve found so many pretty vintage bags, I thought I’d share them with you. There is something magical about finding a perfect vintage bag and one of these might be for you!
These purses have my heart and they are an affordable way to add some vintage to your wardrobe. If you have your eye on some fabric and you’d like to try your hand at making a purse of your own, I’ve gathered some DIY resources for you.
If you buy or make one of these purses, be sure to share a picture with me! I’d love to see how you sew and/or style it! If you post a pic on Instagram, be sure to mention me @faedraflower!
