Today marks two weeks since I received my second dose of the COVID vaccine. To celebrate, I did some thrifting with my mom. It’s good to be back! Throughout this pandemic, my vintage shopping has taken place primarily online. I have played it safe for the sake of my family. To satisfy my urge to do some vintage shopping, I recently spent some time looking at brass unicorn statues on Etsy. After window shopping, I decided I wanted one for my future home. Lo and behold, I found a vintage brass unicorn statue at our first stop today!
I love incorporating themes that make my children happy into my vintage interior design. Since I am a big fan of warm metals in my home decor and my three-year-old daughter loves unicorns, this piece is a perfect addition to our future home. I am so excited to share my find with her! She has an innate love of pretty vintage pieces and she is going to be so excited about this find. I am starting her off at a young age by instilling an early appreciation for vintage and antiques, of course!
